Ashley Gieck graduated from The Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. She holds a certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from the International Academy for Neuromuscular Therapies.  She practices Orthopedic, Sports, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage Therapies.  She would like to learn more about Craniosacral Therapy.

Ashley is a Colorado native who loves to be outside and active. Athletics have always played a huge role in her life, and she loves to be around any and all sports. Her passion is to work primarily with athletes to improve their performance and recovery time. Her goal is to travel the world with an US Olympic team, helping athletes to compete at their highest level, as well as learning about different countries and cultures along the way. She believes Sports massage is a great way to prepare an athlete for their peak performance, as well as quick recovery time for post events to reduce muscle soreness and fatigue. Her overall outlook about massage is that massage of all sorts is healing and Ashley would like to show others how massage can benefit their overall well being, as well as improving performance for athletes.

Continuing Education, Workshops and Webinars completed:
Aromatherapy, Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Introduction to nutrition,Cadaver Lab, Myofascial Release, Spa,Craniosacral, Assesment Class, Deep Tissue, Intro to Rolfing,Compressive Deep Tissue and Hot Stone.

Sarah graduated from Baylor University in 2008 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and graduated from The Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT) in 2012.  She is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Trigger Point Release from the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapies.  Sarah also works one day a week at Peak Performance Physical Therapy.

Sarah is a native of beautiful Colorado Springs.  She grew up and remains an amateur athlete preferring volleyball (as she is 5’10”), hiking, disk golf, fishing, and skiing.  She loves how this area draws athletes from the professional level all the way to the casual exerciser. Sarah admits she practiced and watched her peers practice poor self-care for many years and as a result learned the hard way the value and necessity of proper preventative maintenance in order to promote injury prevention, achieve maximum muscle performance, and improve joint mobilization.

Sarah enjoys working with athletes of all levels because they generally are more in-tune with their bodies and know what their “tibialis anterior” or “gastroc" is.  This translates, for her as a therapist, as a welcome challenge to stay educated on her muscles, their attachments, and their actions to ensure she is providing the proper evaluation and treatment.

Sarah draws from her training in Trigger Point Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Compressive Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy and Joint Range of Motion Techniques, Prenatal, Geriatric and Swedish Massage.  Sarah is excited to announce she will be receiving her Sports Massage Certification in 2015.
